Fox ESS H1-3.0-E - Compact Hybrid Inverter for Your Home
The Fox ESS H1-3.0-E is a single-phase hybrid inverter with 3 kW rated power, specifically designed for smaller residential buildings. Weighing just 23 kg with compact dimensions of 430 x 410 x 178 mm, it mounts easily on any wall. The IP65 protection rating allows both indoor and outdoor installation.
Solar Performance with the Fox ESS H1-3.0-E
Two independent MPP trackers with one string each process up to 3.9 kWp PV input power across the wide voltage range of 80 to 550 V. The maximum input voltage of 600 V and input current of 13.5 A per tracker enable flexible module configurations. Peak efficiency of 97.8% and European efficiency of 97.0% ensure efficient energy conversion under all irradiance conditions.
Battery Storage and Backup Power
The Fox ESS H1-3.0-E supports lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries in the high-voltage range of 85 to 450 V with a maximum charge and discharge current of 40 A. Up to seven batteries can be connected in series, providing up to 18.2 kWh of storage capacity. In backup mode, the inverter delivers up to 5.0 kVA continuous power with a switchover time of less than 20 ms.
Communication and Monitoring
The Fox ESS H1-3.0-E is conveniently controlled and monitored via smartphone app or web portal. WiFi, LAN, 4G and GPRS are available as communication interfaces. Two RS485 ports, DRM and Ripple Control enable integration into various energy management systems. The integrated LCD display shows all key operating data directly on the unit.
Safety and Certification of the Fox ESS H1-3.0-E
Comprehensive protection functions including DC reverse polarity protection, insulation monitoring, residual current monitoring (RCD), anti-islanding detection and an integrated DC disconnect switch ensure safe operation. Type II (DC) and Type III (AC) surge protection guards against lightning. Certification to VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1 and EN 62109 confirms European market compliance.
