The Fox ESS H3-8.0-E positions itself as a powerful three-phase hybrid inverter with 8 kW rated power for demanding solar installations. With a maximum PV input of 13,000 Wp and 8 kVA EPS backup, it effortlessly handles larger system configurations while delivering maximum efficiency and flexibility.
13 kWp PV Input with Extended String Options
The Fox ESS H3-8.0-E features two MPP trackers with an extended 2+1 string configuration (MPPT A with two strings, MPPT B with one string). Maximum PV input power is 13,000 Wp (MPPT A: 8,000 Wp, MPPT B: 5,000 Wp). Input current reaches up to 26 A for tracker A and 14 A for tracker B. The MPPT range of 160 to 950 V at a maximum 1,000 V input voltage and 160 V start-up voltage ensures maximum module flexibility.
High-Voltage Battery with Fast Energy Flow
With a battery voltage range of 180 to 600 V and 26 A maximum charge/discharge current, the Fox ESS H3-8.0-E stores solar energy highly efficiently in LFP batteries. Charging efficiency reaches 98.5%, discharge efficiency 97.0%. The system can be expanded to up to 33.24 kWh storage capacity, and up to 10 inverters can operate in parallel.
8 kVA Backup Power for Your Security
The EPS function provides up to 8,000 VA continuous power and 14,000 VA peak power for 60 seconds. With a switchover time of less than 20 ms and 11.6 A maximum current per phase at 400/230 V, even larger three-phase consumers are reliably supplied.
Complete Package with Future-Proof Design
The compact IP65 enclosure (519 x 449 x 198 mm, 28 kg) with natural fan cooling enables outdoor installation from -25 to 60 degrees C. WiFi, LAN, optionally 4G/GPRS plus two RS485 ports, DRM, Ripple Control and USB provide comprehensive networking. All protection functions including DC switch, SPD Type II (DC and AC) and optional AFCI are integrated. Peak efficiency is 98.0%, European efficiency 97.3%. Certified to EN 62109-1/2, EN 62477-1, EN50549-1, VDE-AR-N 4105 and further international standards.
