FoxESS T17-G3 - Powerful Inverter for Larger Commercial Systems
The FoxESS T17-G3 delivers 17 kW rated output for operators of commercial rooftop systems and large residential buildings. As a high-performance model in the T Series (G3), it offers four string inputs (2+2) per dual MPPT, enabling efficient wiring of large module arrays.

The FoxESS T17-G3 converts solar energy with a peak efficiency of 98.6% and European efficiency of 97.8%. DC input power reaches up to 25.5 kW with maximum input current of 28/28 A for extensive module configurations. The full-load MPPT range of 315 to 850 V within 140 to 1000 V guarantees optimal energy harvest.
Robust Housing for Outdoor Use
At 370 x 480 x 183.5 mm and 21 kg, the FoxESS T17-G3 is solidly yet installation-friendly constructed. IP65 protection secures outdoor operation. Active fan cooling maintains optimal temperatures under full load at below 55 dB. Temperature range from -25 to +60 degrees with derating from 45 degrees.
Monitoring and Communication
WiFi, optional GPRS and 4G enable remote monitoring via the FoxESS platform. Real-time data and historical yields are available via app and web portal. RS485, meter connection, DRM, USB update, emergency stop and LCD touch display complete the communication features.
Professional Protection Features
Integrated DC disconnect, insulation monitoring, residual current protection, DC reverse polarity protection, anti-islanding, AC short-circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage and temperature protection. Type II surge protectors standard. Optional AFCI and string-level monitoring. Certified to IEC 62109-1/2, VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1, G98 and G99.
Expandable with Battery Storage
The FoxESS T17-G3 can be retrofitted with FoxESS battery storage to increase self-consumption. Nighttime consumption below 3 W and robust construction make it the economical choice for professional solar installations.
