The Fronius Verto 17.5 is a three-phase string inverter with 17,5 kW AC rated power, developed for medium commercial installations and agricultural operations. The mature concept of the Verto series combines excellent efficiency of up to 98,55% with comprehensive safety functions and flexible connection options.
Flexible System Design Through Three MPP Trackers
Three independent MPP trackers on the Fronius Verto 17.5 enable optimal use of different roof areas and module orientations. The 2/1/1 connection configuration offers flexibility in string wiring. With a usable MPP voltage range of 150 to 870 volts and a maximum DC input voltage of 1,000 volts, various system concepts can be realized.
Comprehensive Protection as Standard
The Fronius Verto 17.5 comes with a complete safety package: Arc Guard Technology protects against arcs, while integrated DC and AC surge protection according to Type 1+2 and Type 2 respectively prevents overvoltage damage. DC isolation measurement, integrated DC disconnect switch, and RCMU monitoring complete the safety concept.
Communication and Smart Home Integration
The Fronius Verto 17.5 offers diverse communication options for integration into intelligent energy systems. In addition to WiFi and two Ethernet connections, RS485 interfaces for Modbus RTU are available. Integration of smart home systems, heat pumps, and charging stations like Fronius Wattpilot Flex is straightforward via the open interfaces.
