The SMA Sunny Island X 30 is the new generation of proven SMA battery inverter. With 30 kW rated power and true 3-phase design, it excels in both on-grid and off-grid installations. The integrated DC-DC converter enables compatibility with a wide range of approved batteries from various manufacturers.
Powerful Up to High Temperatures
The SMA Sunny Island X 30 delivers full nominal power of 30 kW up to ambient temperature of 45°C - ideal for demanding installations in warm climates. Overload capability of 31 kW for 30 minutes and 36 kW for 3 seconds handles high load peaks with ease.
Wide DC Voltage Range for Maximum Flexibility
With DC voltage range of 200 to 980 volts, the Sunny Island X 30 is compatible with high-voltage batteries from various manufacturers. Maximum DC current of 150 amps enables fast charge and discharge cycles. Outstanding efficiency of 98% minimizes energy losses.
Integrated System Manager
As System Manager, the SMA Sunny Island X 30 supports up to 11 devices including PV inverters, Energy Meter and EV Charger. With SMA Data Manager M, system can be expanded to 50 devices. Central commissioning via Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS simplifies installation.
Versatile Applications
The Sunny Island X 30 is suitable for self-consumption optimization, peak shaving and multi-use applications. Combined with Sunny Island X Connection Box, complex off-grid systems with generator and backup power supply can be realized.
Made in Germany with 10-Year Warranty
Developed and manufactured in Germany with 100% SMA Quality Standards. With registration, factory warranty extends free from 5 to 10 years. IP65 protection enables outdoor installation under extreme conditions.
