SolarEdge SE5000H-AC - Powerful Storage Integration for Larger Systems
The StorEdge SE5000H-AC is an AC-coupled single-phase battery inverter with 5 kW rated power. It enables integration of larger battery storage such as the LG Chem RESU10H into existing photovoltaic systems, maximizing self-consumption of solar power.
Optimized for Larger Storage Capacities
With 5 kW AC power and two MC4 input pairs, the SolarEdge SE5000H-AC is optimized for use with the LG Chem RESU10H battery storage. The maximum input current of 13.5 A enables fast battery charging and discharging for optimal self-consumption rates.
Record-Breaking HD-Wave Efficiency
The HD-Wave technology of the SE5000H-AC achieves a maximum efficiency of 99.2 percent and a European weighted efficiency of 99 percent. These peak values minimize conversion losses and maximize usable storage content over the entire system lifetime.
Universal Compatibility
The StorEdge SE5000H-AC is compatible with three-phase SolarEdge inverters as well as third-party inverters. The StorEdge interface establishes the connection to battery storage. This flexibility makes the SE5000H-AC the ideal solution for retrofit projects of all kinds.
Safety During Installation and Operation
The AC-coupled design of the SE5000H-AC ensures maximum safety. During installation, maintenance, or firefighting, no high DC voltages or currents are present at the battery system. Residual current protection with 300/30 mA plus grid monitoring and anti-islanding are integrated.
Professional Energy Management
The SolarEdge monitoring platform provides detailed insights into battery status, production, and self-consumption. Communication interfaces such as RS485, Ethernet, and optionally WiFi, ZigBee, or cellular enable flexible connectivity. SetApp significantly simplifies commissioning.
Robust Construction for Long Service Life
The SE5000H-AC weighs only 9 kg with dimensions of 280 x 370 x 142 mm. IP65 protection rating enables outdoor and indoor installation. Natural convection cooling operates completely silently and maintenance-free.
