The SWD-800 works with intelligent algorithms that, especially on sunny days, feed the power of one or two photovoltaic modules into the home's electrical grid as a base load via the integrated inverter, even early in the morning. This patented switching of the PV modules optimizes your self-consumption and maximizes the profitability of your solar system.

fothermo SWD-800: Easy installation and versatile compatibility

The compact switching device can manage up to four photovoltaic modules with a total output of up to 2,000 watts. As soon as your fothermo boiler reaches the set maximum temperature or more photovoltaic power is available than needed, the system transfers the excess energy to the home grid via a 600W or 800W microinverter.

fothermo switching device: Plug & Play System without registration requirement

Since a maximum of 600W or 800W of power is fed into the power grid, the entire system falls under the category of "balcony power plant" and does not require any complex registration. The SWD-800 is compatible with all fothermo boiler variants (off-grid, hybrid, and floor-standing boilers) and is extremely easy to install using simple photovoltaic plug-in contacts. The digital display informs you of the current operating status at all times.
