Inverter
An inverter, also known as a power inverter in English-speaking regions, is an electronic device that plays a central role in photovoltaic systems. Its primary function is to convert the direct current (DC) produced by the solar modules into alternating current (AC), which is suitable for general household use and the power grid.
Functionality:
Solar cells generate direct current through the photovoltaic effect. However, this direct current cannot be fed directly into the AC power grid or used by most electrical devices. The inverter handles this conversion.
